This weekend was quite...um... interesting. Saturday my host mother (Ute) hosted a singing party? at a friends barn. It was really weird and the food was awful. Germans don´t know what good party food is... cheese and crackers, it could have been that simple. I tried a couple of new beers there too. Advice: Herb in German means bitter, VERY bitter. But then I had this Dinkel stuff that smelled awful, but it tasted good. Then on Sunday, I went to a traditional Luthren church with my host brother (the preist stood up in a big pulpit thing). I didn´t like that much though, I couldn´t understand what he was saying. Anywho, today was the first day of school. It lasted 1 HOUR! But I was with a lower class so I didn´t meet any noteworthy people. I found out that I have swimming in school though, so I hope that I won´t make a COMPLETE ass out of myself in my attempt to swim. I´m going to be in the tenth grade, which kinda stinks but it means less work. Also in the tenth grade is this girl who lives near me. I tried to grab her attention today but I don´t think she heard me... Hopefully tommorow I will make some friends...
